Survey Summary for ACSD1- Fall 2022

Albany County School District #1 (ACSD1) seeks to cultivate a positive and supportive culture and climate across its district. In fall 2022, ACSD1 partnered with Hanover Research (Hanover) to design and administer a Culture and Climate Survey to assess education partners’ perceptions in key areas related to district culture and climate. A total of 2,700 individuals responded to the survey, including students, staff members, parents, and community members. This infographic provides a summary of the key findings of the survey analysis to inform the district’s education partners about the current state of school climate and culture in the district.

School Meals No Longer Free!

For the past two years we've been able to offer free meals to all students using pandemic relief funds. Those programs have ended and meals are no longer free to everyone. During the 2022-2023 school year breakfasts will cost $1.60 and lunches $2.75 in Albany County elementary schools.

Free and Reduced-price meals are available for those that meet federal income guidelines. Applications are available on-line via your student's Power School account. An instruction link is pasted below. Paper applications are also available in each school office.

It is important to apply quickly to avoid being charged full price for meals if your family is eligible for free or reduced.

How do I apply for Free/Reduced Meals?
